The expanded and thoroughly updated edition of the first Slovenian family guide describes 83 trips throughout Slovenia. The guide is intended for anyone who would like to share the beauty of the mountains and nature with their children or go on an easier trip themselves.

The authors of the book have been enthusiastic mountaineers since their early youth, and they have also passed on their love of the mountains to their children. The book is therefore based on the mountaineering experiences of the entire family, and the rich family tradition is increasingly being boldly followed by their children’s children. The guide contains a number of useful tips for preparing and carrying out a trip with children, both in the immediate family circle and in a group, as Urška has dedicated her entire professional life to raising preschool children and also has extensive experience in leading groups in the mountains.

Each trip is equipped with a clear relief map or sketch, which serves primarily to help us create an idea of ​​the route. Natural and cultural attractions in the vicinity are listed, which can serve as a useful tip for diversifying the tour.

Short stories, interesting facts, legends and poems related to individual trips are intended for both adults and children: for the former as inspiration for storytelling, and for the latter as additional motivation.
